Internet disconnects when using Skype and playing games.

Hello. My whole internet DISCONNECTS. I cannot go on any sites, continue my game and skype disconnects from my call.

This ONLY happens when I"m playing games when I'm in a call. Once I take off skype, my game works fine 100%, also my internet is fine as well. I've tried 'unchecking' the uPnP in settings but still no solutions.

Try Below:

In Skype, Tools >> Options >> Advanced >> Advanced Settings >> Connection >> uncheck the enable uPnP and click Save.

Thanks for replying but as said in my original post. I've already tried unchecking the 'enable uPnP' option. The problem still consists.

try to turn off your routers firewall and disable uPnP in routers settings.

Tried doing that. Disconnections still occur

do you have any other p2p software installed on your computer?

In Skype, Click Tools >> Options... >> Advanced Settings>> un-check Use Port 80 and 443....incoming connections

Click Tools >> Options... >> Skype WiFi >> Tick Enable Skype WiFi

Yes, I have a p2p program installed, bittorrent but I close it when I go on skype or play games.

I tried your solution of turning on the wifi and unchecking the ports but the problem still persists.

I appreciate it a lot that your still helping me through this problem

please configure your BitTorrent application

In BitTorrent, try this- Options >> Preferences >> Torrent Options. Set the Global maximum to a lower number - try a 100 or less

You can also try to turn off DHT. 

options >> preferences >>  BitTorrent > unmark enable DHT

you may also try uninstalling BitTorrent and then try running skype.

Thanks Tamim for your constant support throughout my problem. The problem is gone and now when I play games, I do not disconnect at all! Skype is fine again.
