A couple of days ago I installed Skype on my PC, yesterday I tried to install on my laptop without success, I am able to download the large file but when I get to the install window I receive the following message
" we are having problems connecting to the download server, to download an alternative installer for Skype click the download button"
I have tried many times but always arrive back at this window.
Are there any suggestions out there?
I have tried to install with Avast disabled but it makes no difference

Was this the basic package or premium? I would like to install premium on my desktop and laptop, but wonder if I have to buy two packages.

The Account type has nothing to do with the installer type. The same Skype program works with all Account types and you can use the same account on different computers.
