If you can't login to Skype and see pictures like below:
Follow This Steps:
1. Ensure that "Show hidden files and folders" is switched on.
Click Start and then Run Type "control folders" and click OK. In the View tab, ensure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled
2. Exit Skype: From the system tray >> right click on the Skype icon and click "Quit Skype"
3. Click Start >> Run Type: "%programdata%\Skype\Apps" (without the quotes)
4. Rename the folder login to login1
5. Then go to Skype folder inside program files and go to phone folder and then right click on Skype application and select send to Desktop (Create shortcut)
However by following the above steps the login feature enable but you may not be able to “Add a contact”.
Here is the solution for “Cannot Add a Contact”:
You may need to reset your Internet Explorer Settings.
Here is a Mr. FixIT:
How to reset Internet Explorer settings
Run This.
You may also need to reinstall or repair your Internet Explorer.
Here is another Mr. FixIT
How to reinstall or repair Internet Explorer in Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP
Click the Run Now button.
Restart Your Computer.
Content Advisor is turned off by default. If you already have turned on Content Advisor in Internet Explorer, You may need to Disable Internet Explorer Content Advisor.

Then, you may need to register vbscript.dll and jscript.dll
Windows 32 bit
1. Run cmd.exe with administrator privileges (Start > type ‘cmd’ then
right click on cmd.exe and select Run as Administrator, then click
Continue when prompted by the elevation consent dialogue box). This
will open a command prompt in c:\windows\system32
2.Type “regsvr32 vbscript.dll” (Without The Quotes) press Enter
You should now get a message that says: “DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded.”
3.Type “regsvr32 jscript.dll” (Without The Quotes) press Enter
You should now get a message that says: “DllRegisterServer in jscript.dll succeeded.”
Restart Your Computer.
Windows 64 bit
1.Run cmd.exe with administrator privileges (Start > type ‘cmd’ then
right click on cmd.exe and select Run as Administrator, then click
Continue when prompted by the elevation consent dialogue box). This
will open a command prompt in c:\windows\system32
2.Type cd..
3.Type "cd SysWOW64" (Without The Quotes) press Enter
4. Type “regsvr32 vbscript.dll” (Without The Quotes) press Enter
You should now get a message that says: “DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded.”
5. Type “regsvr32 jscript.dll” (Without The Quotes) press Enter
You should now get a message that says: “DllRegisterServer in jscript.dll succeeded.”
Restart Your Computer.
Note: If you have Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) installed, then also do this:
Type: “regsvr32 jscript9.dll” (Without The Quotes) press Enter
You should now get a message that says: “DllRegisterServer in jscript9.dll succeeded.”
Restart Your Computer.
Now try running Skype.
As a tip: Always keep your Skype, Windows, Internet Explorer, DirectX, Flash and Java software up to date to run Skype Smoothly.

Above solution solved problem, But this is Not an acceptable problem to have. At all. At no point should I have had to follow the above steps to fix the problem and I expect a hotfix be down the pipes soon to fix it. As was said before: When your Beta Build is more stable than the Current Build you are doing it wrong.

Proper registration of JavaScript files should have done the trick. What is the version of Internet Explorer installed on your computer?
Using your Internet Explorer (no other browser but only IE) open this page:
http://www.mistered.us/test/alert.shtml
Click on the “Simply Click This Button” button and watch the response.
See also this:
http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows/Error-when-l
When both Internet Explorer and JavaScript are "up-and-go" you will not need any more to rename the "login" folder. You should also be able to start Skype using the original shortcut or have it to start with Windows.
