IM problem windows 7 [ Edited ]

One of my contacts I regularly chat with and never had problems chatting with is getting my IMs very very slowy (if at all) since yesterday. Restarting Skype only fixes the problem for the first few minutes. I also tried clearing the File thats made with your username, this too was only a temporarily fix.I don't have a clue how to fix it.

Edit: Apparently when my contact attempts to call me he gets the mesagges, maybe this helps ?

I RECENTLY RETURNED FROM SOUTH KOREA..I CAN'T LOGON TO MY SKYPE ACCOUNT...HELP!!

Go to Control panel, System and security, Under Administration tools there is Defragment your hard drive and click on it. Then click on C and click on Analyze disk. If is under 10% then you don't have to defragmet disk and if it is more than 10% then you have to click on Defragment disk. Repeat same procedure on D. It worked on my computer and I had problem with video and voice communication.(Skype, yahoo, msn....)
