I can't start skype normally?? [ Edited ]

Ok, so every time I start skype it gives me some stupid update and I can't even stop it.

I don't want my skype to update to no newer version, i re-installed it 2 times AND NO DIFFERENCE WHAT'S ITS PROBLEM

The current beta version, 5.7.0.137, is working well for many users.  If you want to give it a try you can download the installer via this link:  www.skype.com/go/getskype-beta

If you don't want to try the beta, do this to reset Skype's configuration files:

Quit Skype.  Hold the Windows key and type r.  In the box that comes up type %appdata% <enter>.  Scroll down to find the \Skype folder and rename it to \Skype_old. 

Restart Skype.

Note:  This procedure will move your stored IM chats and call history to the \Skype_old folder.  You can recover them with a few additional steps if you need to.

You can try to turn off Skype automatic updates by enabling User Account Control.

Turn User Account Control on or off

If I do that, how can I restore my history? I really don't want to lose it.

go to Skype_old folder

history are stored in a file called "main.db"

copy this file to your skype account name folder under Skype directory

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Skype\skypeaccountname

At first it started normally but when i moved the history it started the updates again..
Can you tell me more about the firewall way to block updates?
What firewall can I use?
