I can't download skype

Every time I try to down load skype for windows it sign's me out and takes me to the create an account window.

Hello, I have an iMac.  I updated the version of skype and now it will not open.  Please help me get my old version back so I can continue to use.  Computer coming up with error message 'you can not use skype.app because it is not supported on the architecture' ...?
