How to disable Call status "window"

Hi,

You've recently added this annoying call status window in the top right, it hovers above the skype window and is placed exactly so precisely annoying that it's hard to use the skype software. I can see why you would inform me who is talking, for business conference calls, if people don't know each other, but since it isn't working it's kinda pointless. I know my friends voices so i don't really need the annoyance of you informing me that friend x is friend y.

Please add an option for me to place it in either corner of the screen or disable it.

I'm not sure what the call status window is you're referring to.  Can you post a screen grab here to clarify?

same issue here, and omg, it is the super annoying little window when you are on a call.

srsly there is no way to turn this off?  how many hours of my life do i have to wast trying to move this crap little window around out of my way before someone has a way to axe it?

Are you talking about the pop-out window that is shown when the main Skype window is not in focus, i.e. when you during a call click on any other application or even the desktop?

this window can be disabled easily

Tools|Options|Calls -- untick 'Show call controls when Skype is in the background'

Just remember also to activate “Show advanced options” in the calls window.
