How to delete account history

Unfortunately, you cannot. This feature is not available yet. Call history is kept for 6 months.

Sorry, just clicking on the "No History" section doesn't work. I've got two machines that I run Skype on. I have both selected to not save history. If I log off from one, and then go to the other, all the history pops right back in.  I don't want any history saved ever!  How can I accomplish this when I use multiple machines?

What you are experiencing is synchronization of chat messages with your conversation partners and not between your two computers. This synchronization takes place only when both you and your conversation partner are both Online simultaneously. The only what you can do is to do again “Clear history”.

For WINDOWS XP/VISTA/7

Go to "RUN" and type "%appdata%" (without quotation marks) and Press Enter.

Now you see a folder called "SKYPE". Go in to that folder and delete the folder with name of your account.

Lets say My skype id is "seandasilva" and there is a folder named seandasilva in Skype folder ( Full path must be like C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Application Data\Skype)

Hi frind please use this steps to clean your brows history form skype.

Step-by-step:
•Click the Start menu
•Click Run (or just press WinKey+R)
•Type %AppData%
•Press Enter on your keyboard
•In the folder that appears, look for a folder named with the user you want to get rid of
•Delete that folder.

That should clear the username from your login field.
