Re: How to delete IM converstions

I accidentally sent a contact a contact through IM to one of my friends. I highlighted and right clicked to try to delete and I don't get that option. Please help me delete this IM. Thank you.

There is a 1 hour timeframe when you can delete any sent messages. After that, it’s no longer possible to delete the messages.

Re: How to delete IM converstions

Skype is truly a great software but I really don't understand 2 things:
1) Why don't the developers enable the delete option beyond one hour? and,
2) Why, when you delete the history can't you choose which contact's history to delete, instead of having to delete the entire history.
If you don't know the answers, do you know who or where I can ask or post these suggestions to?
Cheers !

Re: How to delete IM converstions

You still can delete selected messages from your computer using 3rd party applications, but nothing will remove these messages from your contact’s Skype.

Re: How to delete IM converstions

Thanks!
It doesn't explain why Skype doesn't enable it directly - why is a 3rd party needed? But never mind, I'll be happy with what I got from you
