When I do this I get a window that says I have to buy Skype Premium to show the desktop.  Did this change?

Re: How do I show desktop or a photo during call?

You need Skype Premium, when you want to share your screen during a group call. You also need Premium, when you want to send your webcam video *and* share your screen at the same time in a 1-to-1 call. So simply stop your video before sharing your screen.

Did my reply answer your question? Accept it as a solution to help others, Thanks.

The only what has changed is that with the recent Skype versions you need Premium account to share screen and video at the same time. However, if you switch your video off before starting screen sharing, then you can still do this for free.
