Help, I cannot sign into skype?

This isn't one of those "Have you forgotten your password/username?" No. When Skype comes up it is just a blank screen. There is no login or anything, I do not understand why. I don't know if I'm the only one who has had this, but it sawks. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? And yes, I have uninstalled/re-downloaded about 5-6 times. Thank you.
