How do I download skype in a new laptop without creating a new account? And in English version?
Thanks to advise.

Hej Mette
It doesn’t matter which language version you are downloading. You can always change the language after the Skype is installed on your computer or even during the installation process. If you start the download by going to Skype.com, then the site will automatically detect that you are located in Denmark and will speak Danish to you.
You can also change the link providing by Primemover to:
skype.com/intl/da/get-skype/on-your-computer/windo

ruwim is correct. you can also just install the English version of Skype client from the links I posted, then just change the language after installation (menu Tools >> Change Language >> Dansk [Danish])

Additionally, please also make sure this setting from the main Skype window is also set to the correct language as well:
Tools -> Options -> General Settings -> Set Program Language
If you make a change, please also click the "Save" button there as well.

Please, answer first these questions:
What version of Windows are you on? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
Go to Windows Start and in the Search box type winver.exe and then press Enter.
What is the version of Internet Explorer installed on your computer?
In Internet Explorer go to Help -> About Internet Explorer

Using all these links and playing around with skype for hours, I still cannot "download" skype onto my new PC. I simply get asked to register or create an account. I cannot therefore fix the icon on my PC let alone access my contacts or the test facilities. It is surely not normal that I will have to go to the internet and register each time I want to skype?
(It is also the most infuriating thing that Skype switches to French as soon as it realises one is temporarily in a French speaking area. )
