Today I tried to see my conversation history with a mate and my Skype logged off. Then I logged in again and it said "Skype is updating files, please wait" I waited and when I logged in my whole skype history was gone. I checked my user folder in AppData->loc->skype and it was there but there were 2 new files I think 1 of them was called "Main" and the other "main.corrupt". I removed these files but then my whole profile was bugged. Luckily I have saved my user folder few months ago so I decided just to reinstall skype and put it right in the Skype folder like I did months ago when I reinstalled my Windows but this time the history didn't show up again. Does anyone have any idea what is the problem? Also When I tried to log in 1 time it said something like "IO/O disc problem" or something like that.
