Simply ridiculous, that this product has been out on the market for 5 months now and still no fix to it?!

I was tasked a few weeks ago with finding a simple Skype solution for the company I work for.

We used a Logitech C525 to begin with, I then went on to recommend an upgrade to the InPerson HD thinking that on board processing would help my Acer Aspire Revo breathe freely.. (not that it struggled much..)

Started out promissing, picture quality was better to begin with, and I thought great! Then Skype kept crashing, turns out I wasn't even seeing HD..!!

I'm not bothered about the sound quality tbf, as we use a soundstation conference phone.

Sort it out guys, this really isn't funny!!!!!

I remember someone complaining that his webcam doesn't switch to HD in the meaning of only software codec and maximum resolution of 640x480. For this problem there is another ticket opened on JIRA.

Been following the string after regretable taking Skype's recommendation and purchasing a inPerson HD VF0720 camera, Might as well have a lemmon sitting on the monitor. Even after all the Windows 7 updates, having latest Driect X 11.0 and going through Skype 5.5, 5.6 and 5.7b versions still crashes when camera closed. Not happy!
