Constant disconnecting and reconnecting

In the last week my skype account has suddenly started disconnecting and reconnecting approximately every 30 seconds.  My internet connection is fine.  I followed the instructions posted for another person who was having the same problem, but none of the solutions fixed the problem.  I have deleted the config.xml file and updated skype among other things.  I have to stay offline now or my friends go crazy because a window pops up telling them that I'm off and I'm on and I'm off and I'm on.  Help!

What type of connection with which provider and in which country are you on? We've heard of a few providers starting to block Skype recently.

Check your Firewall / Proxy Settings. You may temporary disable Firewall / Antivirus and then try running Skype.

In Skype, Tools >> Options >> Advanced >> Advanced Settings >> Connection >> uncheck the enable uPnP and click Save.

I have the same problem on my Iphone. All the time while we talk with firends there a communicate pls wait a while since we reconnect you. Its really annoying.
