Constant crashes [v5.5]

Hello,
Having some problems here.. It seems Skype is crashing randomly (I know it's not but still) quite often. It gives the error "Exception access violation (c0000005)". I am not versed in the error codes, but I do know it's trying to write to memory that's already in use. Updating to the latest version / reinstalling does not help. I ran memtest to see if it was my RAM modules, but the results found nothing wrong. I also tried reinstalling my webcam drivers, but that didnt solve it either.
Is there anything that I am missing on how to solve this?

Look in Event Viewer, Administrative Events, for n error report with aa time stamp coinciding with when Skype crashed. Copy and paste that error report here.

Ok. The first thing I'd suggest is that you update to the current version of Skype, 5.8.0.154. You can download the full installer via this link:
http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-full
That may stop that error involving ntdll.dll.

-.- ... It had told me it updated itself the other day. I assumed it updated to the latest. Alright, well, I have the latest installed now so I will post back If I am having the problem still.
