Hello!
SKYPE IS REALLY ANNOYING ME
It keeps loading with windows and I CANT TURN IT OFF
I have tried:
a) unchecking the box 'start with windows'
b) unchecking the skype box in msconfig
c) deleting the registry entry which is mentioned in msconfig
When I do the above it works for the next restart, but the one after that, its right back again.
WHAT DO!?

Most likely you have another application installed on your system which starts with Windows and in turn starts Skype. See e.g. this:

I tried all of the suggestions from that other post, including downloading and running AUTORUNS, and Skype was STILL loading without permission. I didn't want to uninstall Skype, just disable it while our webcam is visiting another computer, but I reached the point where I was about to reluctantly uninstall Skype, when I had a brainwave!
I have now renamed the C:\Program Files\Skype folder as
C:\Program Files\Skype (disabled).
Worked like a charm
