Cannot send or recieve contact requests

not working ,some thing strange is going on !

every thing else works ,,the sun flares are not up

ok the problem may be that the fiber optic cable has been cut at the UK end

their was a cable cut on the east side of africa and that knocked out some EU places

a while ago.

Never having used a help forum, I hope this is the correct method.

Important conference call pending for Friday AM> URGENT 

Here is current history:

1) Contact in EU confirmed request sent. Contact request has also been sent to them with no result.

2) Request box was momentarily a vague shadow upon sign in, then disappeared and is no longer findable through numerous log in/ off attempts and close examination of every possible drop down menu as well as on line account.

3) Contact request sent to Echo123 as per the tech support suggestion on page 1 w/ the following message:

"Please add me as a contact- I am currently unable to view contact requests.. L Zachary DuBois"

4) as of yet no response.

I am having this same problem, along with the person with whom I am trying to establish a contact. We have both send contact requests to each other; neither one of us received the contact request, although we are now both listed in each other's list of contacts. Regardless, we still can't connect because Skype tells us that each of us haven't accepted the other's contact invite. Can anyone help with this. It's really annoying. Thanks

I tried to add 3 Skype users but it is unfortunate that they can't receive my contact invite...

I am also having this issue.  I have sent a contact request and the person at the other end did not receive it.  She also sent me a contact request and I have never seen that.  Please help as I still don't see a solution in the above posts having the same issue.

I'm also having this problem. I have tried sending contact requests, but my friend says they have not be received. I have contacted Skype twice through online chat, but none of the solutions offered resolved the problem.

Has there been any solutions so far? I still can't receive contact requests, this has been going on for too long. Skype is becoming unusable.
