Cannot delete profile picture

I cannot delete my profile picture. Please help.  When I click to edit my picture a window opens so that I can upload a new picture. There is no delete option to remove my current picture. Thanks.

I think that the Remove Profile Image was last seen on version 5.3, and no longer available in version 5.5

I have the same poblem. Is there no way I can delete profile pictures from Skype?

there is, but it could be very impractical to revert to 5.3 just to delete your profile picture.  This is not a solution, but just a workaround, you can simply use the image below as your profile picture (which is basically a copy of the default image in the profile picture box).

Low tech solution! Place thumb over camera lense and take a new photo.

I find this to be very irritating and if the Skype support does not adress this issue quick I am inclined to release this to some sources who love to deal with companies taking away the users freedom rights.
