Cannot Sign In

Hello! If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I've looked at what seems like all of the FAQ of common signing in problems. Nothing seems to work.

I try to sign in, but it simply says "a problem caused skype to stop working" but how do I know what that problem is??

I'm pretty sure it's a laptop-related problem, as opposed to a skype-related one.

I have a toshiba satellite with windows 7, if that helps.

I too have the  same problem.  I followed all the steps suggested in the FAQ, but could not be signed in.  I had a very good experience with Skype so far, but as of the last two days, it started behaving in a rather weird manner.  I deleted and downloaded another copy, but so far, it would not work!

  I too have a Toshiba and Windows Vistas!
