Can't see other person

I am new to skype. Today my daughter and I used it for the first time. I am using a webcam and she is using her iphone. She can see and hear me. I can hear her, but not see her. What should we do?

Let me say that it's definetely possible to do a Skype video call between an iPhone and a PC.

Your daughter should check with the app store to make sure she's running the latest version of the Skype iPhone app.

You can click on Help > About Skype.  If you don't see that you have version 5.8.0.156 installed, the latest at the moment, update via this link:

http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-full

If you're both running the latest version of Skype, it will be best if your daughter is connected via wifi rather than celluar 3G.  And she should make sure she has her video turned on and can see her own video in her picture-in-picture.

Until a few days ago I could see other people's video, but recently they can see me and I can not see them. I didn't change anything in my settings to create the problem. What I am supposed to do?

What version are Skype are you running?  Click on Help > About Skype for the specific version number.

What version of Windows?

Do you have the problem with multiple contacts, or just one?

What do you see when you can't see their video but they can see you?  Can you see your own video in your picture-in-picture?

I've got the latest version of Skype and I am on Windows 7. A few days ago I could see both wideo from my webcam and the other person. Now, I can still see my video and the other persons can still see it but I see only their profile picture, not video. This happens with multiple contacts.

"The latest version" doesn't answer the question.  What version number?  If it's not too much trouble, click on Help > About Skype for that number.

In any case, if you're seeing their profile picture the chances are the problem is at the other end rather than at yours.    Are those same contacts able to send video to others besides you?

Are they seeing their own video in their picture-in-picture when on a call with you?

Next time when you're on a call and experiencing the problem, click on Call > Call Technical Info.  Copy and paste the results here.  That may shed some light on where the problem lies.

My Skype version is 5.8.0.156

They can see their video in PIP when on call with me, I didn't ask how it is when talking to someone else. First time when it happened talking to my daughter a few days ago I asked her to log on MSN Messenger and we could both see each other, but their sound quality was poor so we went back to Skype to talk although I couldn't see her.

i can call fine 

people can see and here me fine 

but i can only see a bad wuality picture and the sound is all juttery . not cool.

a few days ago it was all fine not sure what i can do for this?

I have the same problem.
My skype version is 5.9.0.123
The other person can see me perfect.
She can see herself in her camera BUT i cant see her. Everything was perfect some days before.

Everytime when i start skype this message confirm to me from Adobe Flash Player

And i press Dismiss All

Is there any connection? I had this message and before but i didnt had any problems.
