Can't open links in my skype calls [ Edited ]

I can't seem to open any links that are sent to me through skype this problem just started 2 days ago worked fine before that. When I click a link nothing happens it doesn't open any other programs. I tried upgrading and didn't fix it any clues what this may be?

I've been having the same problem for the past couple of days and I'm not sure why it's happeneing suddenly.

I'm having the same problem as well. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Skype. I hope I find a soultion soon.

a friend of mine helped me fix it. if you're having this problem still, or if someone new has this problem and it leads them here, try this:

Go to Control Panel, then open Default Programs.
Then click "Set your default programs"

Click your browser of choice, then click "Set this program as default."
Log out or restart, then try clicking a link sent to you over Skype.
