You might try a complete uinstall and then reinstall as described here:

Maybe that will remove whatever pesky registry entry is preventing a new install from completing.

Hello - why would you send out a version of something that does not work.... HELLO I have had skype working on my mac for over 4 years and now you send out a version that does not connect... what a bunch of mupets and to really finish us off you dont cant even be bothered to have anyone to deal with the problem - Oh well.

I cant install skype and it is annoying that no one seems to have an answer.  Its now two days spent doing this.  Could someone have a talk with those guys and find out what the problem is, we are having withdrawal symptoms.

What exactly happens when you are trying to install Skype?

check your date and time on your pc.

After few minutes a screen appears which says that " we are having problem connecting to download server " i tried several times but same thing appears everytime plzz help
