Can't install click to call!

Whenever I try to uninstall it, half way thru a pop up appears saying to close chrome but I'm not on chrome or on any other browser. This still pops up even if I'm not connected to the internet and if click OK it just keeps showing up.

i need my skype to recognize all phone numbers automattically, i had this feature before, do you know how to do it

My apologies, I meant I couldn't uninstall it. To be honest, I'm not exactly sure what it is. I just know that after installation my browser kept crashing.

It might be some other application is actually embedding a Google Chrome browser component. To make suer uninstall work I recommend:
- Restarting Windows
- Quit any applications that might have started together with Windows
- Uninstall Skype Click to Call via "Add/remove programs"

Everything is fixed now. When I tried to restart and use "Add/Remove Programs" the same thing would happen. I ended up having to reinstall Chrome and Skype for it to finally uninstall

I've tried several times uninstalling and reinstalling Click To Call, and Skype, then Click to Call, to get it back in Chrome.  It is getting ignored and I don't get the extension in Chrome.

I prefer not to have to uninstall and reinstall Chrome.  

Haven't tried windows restart.

Any explanations of why the install looks like it works but Click to call not there in Chrome?

Hi

I am having exactly the same problem, every few minutes I get an error box saying plug-in Skype click to call is unresponsive, I have tried to change, repair,uninstall to no avail, I cannot uninstall via add/remove program as it says close Chrome windows... I have checked I have nothing open at all except the remove program.. I am now getting very frustrated

In similar cases the solution was first to uninstall Chrome and then uninstall the Click-to-Call add-on. You can subsequently re-install Chrome.
