Can no longer take pictures/use snapshot gallery after latest upgrade

I can no longer access my snapshot gallery or take pictures since the latest upgrade of Skype. When looking to set up a 'Hotkey' there is also no option for taking pictures. I can however search my folders and find them.

Any ideas without me losing the last 6 months conversation between myself and my girlfriend in another country?

What version of Skype do you have installed? Click on Help > About Skype for the specific version number. The current version is 5.9.0.114 and it does have an option for a snapshot hotkey.

I've got Alt-z configured as my snapshot hotkey and it works great.

I have had the same problem.  I could not click on the "plus sign" and then click on "take a Picture" without Skype crashing.  I have now upgraded to 5.9, but not had an opportunity to  test it.  Will it now work with the plus sign and "take a picture" or do I have to set up a hotkey?  And how do I set up hotkeys?

In Skype go to View -> Snapshots Gallery.

i cannot see the photos of my snapshot gallery, while the choice of snapshot gallery is inactive...What should i do?
