Can I add myself as a contact so that I can Skype home when out of town?

I have been told that I can add myself as a contact, but I can't work out how I can get Skype to accept this.

I want to be able to call Skype at my home when I am away so that I can talk to my family. So far, this has been blocked.

How can I achieve this? Or can I achieve this?

no, it is not possible to add yourself in your own contact list.  If you want to call home when you are away, you may need to create another Skype account (which actually will just take a few minutes).
