Camera issues on Gateway Computer

Cannot use Camera in Skype as told it is being used by another open program.  I have rebooted, but camera light still on...do not know how to find porgram using camera to turn it off so can use in Skype. On Windows 8 and see light next tro camera is on.....Gateway all in one computer....help!!!!!!!!

Are you using Skype for Windows Desktop or the Skype version from the Windows Store?

You might have some virtual camera or similar software installed.  When you check your video settings in Skype, what is available from the the drop-down?  Is it a list of items or just one item?  If you have a list of items (youcam, manycam, etc.), then one of those other items may be hogging up the camera.  You would either want to shutdown those other programs in that list that are running in the background or select one of the other options from the drop-down and see if your camera functions in Skype.
