it is also possible that your issue is that Skype cannot send an SMS to a particular mobile number (thus causing verification process to fail), which would make the problem an SMS problem, not really a Caller ID issue
try sending a Skype SMS to the mobile number -- if you can send a Skype SMS to most mobile phones, but not to this particular number, then that should be investigated
I finally received a confirmation code to my mobile phone , but that code is not being accepted. I continue to get (incorrect code) please try again. Extremely frustrating!
Plus I clicked on resend code but to no evail, it keeps bringing me back to summit confirmation code, and when I do , I get "wrong code" . It's crazy! My existing code ,for some reason, does'nt work, it is correct, so just send me another one, but it won't do that!
I had a similar experience. I received more than one SMS with a different code on each one as I experienced a delay of more than 4 hours to receive the first code. Based on this I just used the last code I received because I suspected that the first ones were cancelled due I pressed the resend button.
