Ok, I have been trying to get my caller identification to work on skype so that it will display my cell number when i make outgoign calls. I followed all the onscreen instructions up to the point skype is supposed to send me a verification number. Skype never sends my phone a verification number and I tried several times therefore I can never get to point B. Pretty frustrating when something doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Any advice on how to fix this issue? Thanks

Same thing happening with me. It is more than 24 hrs but not received caller identification no. There is no support number to discuss to Skype support team. If you know any support number pls let me know.

I have the same problem, i set up the caller ID but there's no SMS at all! Is this some kinda bull**bleep** again?

I am having this same issue. I enter my number, but it does not send me the verification codes. Was there a fix for this?

Check that you are in the list of countries that caller ID works with.
I received both text messages, one with the code, and one with the confirmation.
However my number still doesn't show up on the other end.
Help !

did you submit the verification code back to Skype via the SMS Settings page in the client options?

Hey Neil, thanks for the reply. Yes I did, and my mobile number is recorded and verified on the SMS settings page.
I've done evrything right, read multiple times the FAQ and answers on this forum and the knowledge base and everything is setup. Yet, it doesn't work. ![]()
