When I attempt to add a new contact, either through the menu bar "Contacts/Add Contact" or the "Add" Contact" button on the Contacts pane I can complete as many details as I know (e.g. phone number and name) but the "Add" button does not become active. I have tried using additional dummy data to complete all fields but I cannot get the button to become active under any circumstances.
Using my e-mail address kept the button active. I was able to add a contact but only if the contact's e-mail address was valid. Dummy addresses did not work.
This is also how it should work. The Add button will only be activated if there is an existing Skype user to add.
The only certain method is when you know the exact Skype Name of a contact. Using Full Name may result in several possibilities and you would first have to select the one which seems to be correct.
