5.5.0.114 APPCRASH Vista help

Hello,

Upon starting up skype, it crashes and gives me this error message:

It was working fine last night, but trying to log in this morning caused this to happen. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium.

I wondered if anyone has any idea what's going on, and could give me advice.
