skype on a USB

ok so i want to download skype onto a usb so i can use it on my school laptop which does not allow me to download anything. i had it on a usb before but i lost it. 

it will not allow me to save it to a usb port. iv created a skype file on the usb and a data file and all that and in the data file made the skype.bat

 and i also cant find the skype.exe to put in the skype file as well. please help!

I recommend that you always run the latest software version: Windows & Mac

The described procedure applies also to portable installation on a USB stick. The “only” problem is how to get the Skype.exe file (the link provided in the above post is no longer active). The easiest way would be to find another computer where Skype is installed and make a copy of Skype.exe from there.
