how to use Skpye with Windows 8

I'm having trouble getting started using Skype using windows 8.  How do I do video to video and how do I add contacts.  It seems I can't get past the profile...looking at various offers etc.  I'm not interested in buying anything...just want to be able to use the video chat.

Alternatively, Run Skype >> WinKey + C >> Search

Type your contacts name in the search bar.

add a contact ms.PNG

Select the contact then Click add to contacts.

add a contact ms1.PNG

Select / Highlight the contact you want to call then click the green video call to start the video call.
