how do I get rid of a LOUD wind tunnel sound when playing music to my friend?

Does anyone else hear LOUD wind when playing music and talking to a friend? We don't know where the wind comes from , so we can't fix it. When playing music to my friend while talking the wind gets so loud it hurts my ears.

if you are using a laptop, is it possible that the internal mic is picking up the sound of the cooling fan? (the sound could also be coming from the PC at the other end of the call)

systems, especially laptops, run hotter during a call and the fan may run more often, or even continuously

if you can, try an external mic (USB-based headset would be best)

In response to your post, yes I also hear the horrible wind tunnel noise. It is so bad that my daughter doesn't want to talk to me on Skype anymore!!! And she lives so far away that we have always enjoyed Skyping each other. I have tried many things, but nothing has worked.
