Problems started today.
I am using Skype 18.104.22.168
Windows XP SP3
When I try to make a call using skype using my phone the internet disconnects. I then physically have to "connect to internet" again, or wait 5 minutes for it to happen automatically.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Skype and Skypemate.
Is this connected to the "skype certified phone log in problems" issue?
Solutions I do not want to hear include updating Skype, Skypemate, or my PC :¬)
It started working again about 4 hours ago, but now has stopped.
What happens is that I dial a number but get not signal from the other end, then my internet connection drops. This is why I assume it is a skype issue rather than a problem with my PC.

It's fixed - it was definitely a Skype server problem - no changes to my setting, but at the moment it is all connecting properly.
I did email Skype support, whose only advise was "update to a new version of skype"
As I only use Skype for the telephone, the newer version is of absolutely no use to me at all.
