Skype Startup on the Windows 7

Just wondering, how do I prevent Skype from starting with my Windows 7 computer on boot?

How about the back door Call > Audio Settings > General settings (Uncheck "Start Skype when I start Windows")

What version of skype are you running? Skype > Help > About

And just to try it:

Stop running Skype > Start > Run > %appdata%\skype > Delete Shared.xml (Alt Shared) > Start Skype

Re: Skype Startup on the Windows 7

Click on Tools > Options > General settings and uncheck "Start Skype when I start Windows."

Thanks, but when I open Tools in Skype, there is no Options. Any Idea what I am doing wrong?

[ Edited ]

Manually editing your system settings can cause Skype to crash. Undo changes you made before Skype stopped connecting.

Stop running Skype > Start > Run > %appdata%\skype > Delete Shared.xml (Alt Shared) > Start Skype

Check and update your firewall settings.
