Skype IM messing up.

My Skype, when I reinstalled it, has been having an issue since a restart on my computer where it has all the things said before the restart at the bottom of chat log and all new messages are showing up on top of that like normal. But I have to be at the top of the old conversation.

Have you compared the date/time on your computer and the messages?  This issue is probably happening due to a wrong date/time in your earlier conversation.

I replied to a similar issue here:

Re: Skype IM messing up.

Thank you so much!. Was having the same issue and I came across your answer after a google search. Turned out my skype chat log got all messed up after I changed my computer's time zone on windows and it wouldn't let me talk to any of my contacts on the current time without triggering my conversation two hours back in time because technically I was in the future, lol.
