Skype Crash on Windows 7

I'm sorry guys, but you seriously START TO SUCK LIKE HELL. Why? Because skype crashing is pissing me off. I had to re-install it because of the problem, which can not be fixed in any other way. The thing is, when skype starts, loading up, my QUAD CORE processor, and 6GB of DDR3 1.6k MHz going on Freaking' 80-90% of usage. And remains same, for like 10-15 minutes, until it crashes, and till then you are unable to do absolutely nothing, or if you succeed pressing "close" button for example, you get like 100 000 000 000 * * * * * * * * * * * latency, and despite that, it won't close, you have to restart PC or end process from Task Manager. So, I decided, that versions 4.x and later SUCK, so, I re-installed 3.8 skype, and it works just Fine, no lag, no crash, no nothing, only the "this skype version has compatibility issues with version of your windows" **bleep**, which is stupid, 'cause it's working better then newer versions, obviously. In any case, make an update, or something, for this type of bull**bleep**, 'cause if it continues, I won't be the only one, who'll be using MSN or other programs alike, instead of **bleep**ty skype. T.Y. for your precious time.

If you are using Win7 Please try this:

Open Windows Event Viewer. Go to Custom Views -> Administrative Events. Look for the recent error messages. Click on any errors and post the details here if they happen at the time things fail.

Otherwise do this:

Using your Windows Control Panel:

Adminstrator Tools -> Event Viewer

Click on System and later Applications, do you see any errors logged during the times this happens, if so what errors ("If you click on the errors you can get more details and copy/paste them here")?

Also, please check times after you reboot to see if any errors are produced when you system is restarting.

Are you current with ALL Windows Updates and any Updates from your manufacturers web site for your system and any attached devices?

Re: Skype Crash on Windows 7

the new skype is junk. I downloaded it in English and now all the tabs are in some foerign language that I dont have a clue what they mean. I can't find an odler version that works as it wants to use anotehr foreign language and when I ope skype and try to give feedback, you can't make it send anything.

I knew when microsoft bought them, it would be a disaster. I hate microsoft

Please go here and click "Run Now": http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318378

Note: The newer Skype clients use IE ("Internet Explorer") programmatically, so IE must be currently set up properly, even if it is not your default browser, or not used normally.
