Re: Profile picture

I have exactly the same problem. Skype does not add my profile picture either by browsing or by using the webcam. After adding just the same screen comes back without a picture, nor I have previous pictures displayed. This happens under Windows Vista, Windows 7 and even on Windows 8.1. I am using the latest Skype Version. By changing to a previous version 6.3 the same problem remained.

Re: Profile picture

Hello people - Still no luck finding the answer to wanting to add a profile pic & the option not existing.  I am using Windows 7 & have Skype (just installed a few minutes ago) version 6.7.  In my profile, when click Edit, I have tons of greyed out areas that don't allow me access to them.  This includes the option to add a pic.  What is going on Skype people?  Are the profile pix only allowed for paying Skypers or --- ?  Thanks in advance for anyone's feedback.

Re: Profile picture

Thanks for the info.

UPDATE - via reading many posts under this topic - found the solution!

One must LOG IN to one's Skype account - there one will find the option to add profile pic.

Thanks to all Skypers who posted the answers.  Happy Flying!  =D

Re: Profile picture

P.S.

Sorry, I didn't discern =

One must log in to one's Skype account, meaning the log in to actually go "airborne" into Skype - not the website itself.  HUGE difference bec at first, when I read others' posts on this, i got frustrated bec I WAS logged into the Skype website.  Lol.

So yes, log in as if you are going to Skype!  There.  =D
