No Skype video calls available on Windows XP system.

No Skype video calls available on Windows XP system. Firewall completely off. Webcam works perfect. Newly updated Skype version but same problem existed before upgrade. Rebooted PC but no joy. What's up?

Re: No Skype video calls available on Windows XP system.

If you click on Help > About Skype, what specific version number does it say you have?

When you say no video calls available, how so?  What actually happens when you try to make a video call?

Your webcam works perfectly, but with what program?  In Skype, if you click on Tools > Options > Video settings, do you see your own video there?
