Try this link for the installer to v5.6.0.110:

Do you have any Internet usage surveillance software installed on your computer? See this

Do you have parental control enabled in Bullgard?

Re: New Installation Of Skype on Windows XP SP3 - Wont Install

I’m not familiar with Bullguard, so I cannot help you with the settings in this security software. However, from the available description on the web, I can see that Parental Control is an option in this software. If you once more read this post:

http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows/Error-Skype-Corrupt/m-p/176874/highlight/true#M18078

then you will see that the error, which you are receiving is often caused by some sort of internet control software. If you want, you can try temporary to completely disable Bullguard and then re-install Skype again. This, at least, will show if the problem is in Bullguard or not.
