This just started today, i click to maximize the skype window, and you see the glimpse of the window effect that comes with windows 7 zooming and enlarging to the spot it's on on the screen. but after that split moment, it disappears. I can see it when i hover over skype on my task bar, so it's technically there. But it won't show...
the window maximizes to somewhat off screen, so half of it goes off screen... Tried uninstalling and all once so far, what do I do?
Quit Skype. Hold the Windows key and type r. In the box that comes up, type %appdata% <enter>.
Scroll down to find the \Skype folder and rename it something like Skype_old.
Restart Skype and see if it looks normal now.
I am on the login page and there is no maximize option. It won't let me click it the only bits i can acsees are Skype, Tools and Help!
Please, answer first these questions:
What version of Windows are you on (XP, Vista, Windows 7)? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
What is the version of Internet Explorer installed on your computer?
In Internet Explorer go to Help -> About Internet Explorer.
P.S. Please, don’t say that you are not using Internet Explorer. This is irrelevant. Skype depends on Internet Explorer.
