HP Pavilion g Series

So I just got a brand new Windows HP Pavilivon g series and I had skype working for about a week I could do everything that Skype offered. Just a couple weeks ago it started acting weird. I wasn't able to type a new status. At first I thought it was fine so I turned my computer off then tried again, to no avial. Then the problem got worse. I couldn't do anything. I would try to chat someone, change something on my profile, call someone, answer a call, or anything else a screen would pop up saying "Skype has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution. A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avalible." Then Skype would close. I waited a week still nothing. I had already tried to redownload Skype many times but no use. The weird thing is that on my other computer Skype is working fine.
