Error message after Skype tried to install the Click-to-Call feature

I get this message each time I try to log into Skype "Failed to get proc address for EncodePointer (KERNEL 32.dll)".  Skype worked fine until it tried to instal the Click-to-Call feature when I last logged in.  I tried to uninstal and then re-instal Skype, but the problem still persists.  I believe I am using Windows XP.

Re: Error message after Skype tried to install the Click-to-Call feature

If your system is Windows XP and you don’t have at least SP2 installed, this might be the reason for this error message.

Thank you!  I'll have my husband look into that.  I think he did mention that he still needed to do the updates, so you may be right.
