Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate.

Beginning three days ago, when our users sign into Skype, they get this message:

"Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate.
For more information, see "Certificate Errors" in Internet Explorer Help."

I became aware of it when I went to pay for a premium account for one of our users, and instead of the usual interface, I got just a skeletal text diagram of offerings which didn't function anyway.

I didn't realize that Skype ran atop of IE.

How can i fix this?

Re: Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate.

Do you have any security software installed on the computer?

Try Below:

Reset IE.

Press WinKey + R to open the Run window

WinKey (the button is located between the left Ctrl and Alt with the Windows logo)

Type: iexplore.exe and press Enter

In IE, Click Internet Options >> Advanced >> Restore Advanced Settings >> Reset.

Mark Delete personal settings >> OK >> restart.

Please Run the Cleaning Manager Utility

Press WinKey + R to open the Run window

type: cleanmgr tuneup and press Enter

select the Temp Internet Files boxes and click OK, then Click Delete files.

Now Check Proxy settings

In Internet Explorer, Go to, Tools >> Internet Options... >> Connections>> Lan settings , Use a proxy server... if it had been ticked, then... Remove that check. Make sure automatically detect settings is enabled. (Marked)
