Connection Problem During Video Call

Hi guys, can anyone help me please?

the past two weekends my family and i have been trying to use skype to video call but about 30 seconds into the call a message comes up saying "there is a probelm with the connection between the two of you, please hold while we get the call back" the call comes back and 30 seconds later the same thing happens, we have both updated to the latest version of skype, unistalled and reinstalled skype and our at the end of wits trying to solve this as we've had no issues previously, we're both using fibre optic internet so theres no problem with speed i dont think! please help!!

thanks x

Can you both please do this:

If you are using Win7 Please try this:

Open Windows Event Viewer. Go to Custom Views -> Administrative Events. Look for the recent error messages. Click on any errors and post the details here if they happen at the time things fail.

Otherwise do this:

Using your Windows Control Panel:

Adminstrator Tools -> Event Viewer

Click on System and later Applications, do you see any errors logged during the times this happens, if so what errors ("If you click on the errors you can get more details and copy/paste them here")?

Also, please check times after you reboot to see if any errors are produced when you system is restarting.

Are you current with ALL Windows Updates and any Updates from your manufacturers web site for your system and any attached devices?

The IP address lease 192.168.1.7 for the Network Card with network address 0xE02A1111EC66 has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.1.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).
