EncodePointer (kernel32.dll) and "entry point not found" are the error codes I keep receiving when I try to install Skype onto my computer. It is running Windows XP. How can I fix this?

EncodePointer function in kernel32.dll was first introduced in Windows XP Service Pack 2. Your system is still on SP1. It’s necessary to update your Windows XP installation.
