C:\program files(x86)\skype\phone\skype.exe

Hi, I am using win7 home premium. Recently updated skype from version to latest version. Skype does not work and returns error as in heading. Does anyone have a clue what is wrong please?

You should see there the Skype application file Skype.exe (Skype icon). Double click on this file. What happens then?

go to Skype folder inside C:\Program Files (x86) and go to phone folder and then right click on Skype application and select send to Desktop (Create shortcut)

Re-run skype using this new shortcut.
