Installed Skype today
Load some contacts, all of which showed options for "call" or "video call"
First test worked wonderfully talking to my brother, both audio and video
But later today, now trying again, all contacts show only "Call" option, not "Video" option
I followed Skype instructions to check webcam, that's working.
What's up?
Why don't I get option for "video"now?
What do I do to restore that?

Are your contacts shown as being "Online"? The icon next to their names must be solid green with a white checkmark inside.

ruwin:
No, there is no solid green with white checkmark.
Is that because the contact are offline, or is there some setting on my computer that needs to be clickecd?

Most likely this shows that your contacts are Offline and you cannot make a video call to offline contacts. However, you should also check your own status. The status icon next to your name must also be solid green. If not, try to change your status using the dropdown arrow next to this icon.
