Adding a new language- Circassian language

Hello! I am a native Adhyge speaker from North Caucasus and I have a lot of friends who speak this language. I would like it to appear in the language list so we can choose it as our mother languages. How can j make that happen? I wish a good day. Elif Ok

Hi,
currently we are not adding additional built in languages. But you can share your translation here on the community.

Skype-Kundendienst (Deutsch) || Customer Service (English) || Follow us @SkypeSupport
I recommend to download the latest Skype and search first.
To get the most out of Skype I recommend Skype Premium.

Re: Adding a new language- Circassian language

The only option you currently have is on Windows. If you go to Skype > Tools > Change Language, you have the option of Edit Skype Language File. That brings up a table in whatever language you're using, say Russian or English. If you choose Save As, you can save that as (for example) Circassian.lang. You can then translate the strings, either in Skype itself or by opening the .lang in a text editor like Notepad.

When you're done, you can then attach the file to a post here and/or upload it to a website somewhere so people can download it and install it (via Skype > Tools > Change Language > Load Skype Language File.

It's the way we're currently providing a translation for Scottish Gaelic too.
